General Terms and Conditions for City Tours Zierikzee

Definitions

Company: City Tours Zierikzee, located in Nieuwerkerk, registered with the Chamber of Commerce under number 80002242.

Customer: Any natural or legal person booking a guided city tour with the Company.

Guide: The person who leads the city tour and provides information.

Booking and Confirmation

By booking a city tour, the Customer agrees to these Terms and Conditions.

Bookings can be made online, by phone, or in person. The booking is final upon receipt of payment.

The Company reserves the right to refuse bookings without providing a reason.

After receiving payment, the Company sends a confirmation to the Customer with the details of the city tour.

Payment and Rates

Rates for city tours up to 25 people can be found on the Company’s website. For 26 or more people, rates can be requested via the contact form.

Payment must be made prior to the city tour, unless otherwise agreed.

If payment is not received on time, the Company reserves the right to cancel the booking.

Cancellation and Refund

Customer-initiated cancellations must be made in writing.

In case of customer-initiated cancellations, the following refund conditions apply:

– In the event of very poor weather forecasts, the tour can be cancelled up to 2 days in advance.

– Once the final confirmation with the invoice has been sent to the customer, the tour cannot be cancelled, but discussions can always take place.

The Company reserves the right to cancel or modify a tour due to unforeseen circumstances. In such cases, an alternative date will be proposed, or the Customer will receive a full refund.

If the Customer is late:

– A maximum of 15 minutes will be waited for the tours unless otherwise agreed with the guide.

Liability

Participation in the city tour is at the Customer’s own risk.

The Company is not liable for personal injury, loss, theft, or damage to the Customer’s property.

The Customer is responsible for complying with the guide’s instructions during the city tour.

Changes to the Terms and Conditions

The Company reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions at any time. Revised terms will be published on the Company’s website.

By booking a city tour, the Customer agrees to the prevailing Terms and Conditions at the time of booking.
